the best albums i've ever heard

in mid-summer 2025, i wanted to have a definitive answer to "what's your favourite album?", a question posed to me earlier that year, that i couldn't really answer clearly. since then, i decided to keep track (on a TOP-100 scoreboard/list on AOTY) of every album i've listened from then on, which were reccomended to me by friends, family, and internet forums, along with some great albums that i'd heard in the past.
there isn't really a list of criteria for this list, it's purely subjective on how i feel upon listening to the whole album on one sitting, and immediately ranking it afterwards. as of the time i'm writing this, the list is not yet finished, but i'm getting there.
